Uprooted and Their Principles of Food

When you order a meal at Uprooted Kitchen, you sense the genuine excitement from Chad and Erin that you are giving them the opportunity to prepare a meal for you.

To many people, the idea of a plant based meal just brings up thoughts of ‘healthy’ or a ‘diet’, but to the Romanoffs, this is a fundamental way of life. The chance to connect with people through food, and share this way of life, is a guiding force behind their delicious day to day.

When establishing Uprooted Kitchen they designed their food principles that illuminate exactly what eating at Uprooted Kitchen is all about.

“Food = Seasonal/Local/Organic. Our menu will be based off of local farmers available crops – choosing to use produce that is grown as close as possible.” Erin and Chad cultivate relationships with local farmers, and spending any amount of time in Uprooted Kitchen, this connection with suppliers is most evident.

Within their principle, Food = Enjoyment, they said “We will always make it a priority to give our customers a positive dining experience through a creative flavorful menu.” The menu at Uprooted Kitchen changes weekly, and it’s so exciting to find out what amazing flavors they will put together next, elevating plant based cooking to beyond everyone’s expectations.

Perhaps the principle that keeps you coming back day after day is Food = Love – “Preparing whole foods from scratch shows a deep level of caring and respect for our customers and the earth.”

There’s 5 more principles. Come in and ask Chad and Erin about them. They love to gather and connect with customers about their guiding ideas and they would love prepare you a delicious meal.
